Minimum maintenance

Beautiful beds with crushed granite

It is always lovely when the garden is completely finished. It allows you to spend quality time with your family. At the same time, it is important that the garden does not require too much maintenance.

If you wish to make a long-term investment and get more spare time from garden work, you should place a weed control fabric called navnet Fibertex WeedSeal® in your garden beds. This way you can maintain your beautiful garden beds for a long time without constantly having to be on your hands and knees removing weeds.

Garden beds along driveway

Step 1

In this example, two long garden beds have been made along an attractive, newly-laid driveway. In the long garden beds, Fibertex WeedSeal® has been laid to prevent weeds from coming up from below. REMEMBER to remove all the weeds before you lay the weed control fabric. The fabric is easy to work with and you can easily cut it.

Step 2

You should also remember to make holes for your plant and lamps.

REMEMBER to cover the fabric with either bark, pebbles, crushed granite or similar. Crushed granite is very popular at the moment and crushed granite has been used in this example.

Step 3

Now the garden bed with crushed granite is almost finished. Here father and son are helping each other with the finishing touch.

Note: In the case of very aggressive weeds such as couch grass or field horsetail, you should use two layers of Fibertex WeedSeal® to prevent the weeds from coming up through the fabric.
